Workmanship & Product Guarantee

At A. Houlihan Locksmiths, we stand over the quality of our work and the products we supply and fit.

Our 12-Month Guarantee

All workmanship carried out by A. Houlihan Locksmiths is guaranteed for 12 months from the date the work is completed.

All parts supplied and fitted by A. Houlihan Locksmiths are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of installation.

If a fault covered by this guarantee arises during that period, we will inspect the work and, where appropriate, repair or replace the faulty part or correct the workmanship without charge.

What Is Not Covered

This guarantee does not cover faults or damage resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse, neglect or accidental damage
• Burglary, attempted burglary or vandalism
• Alterations, repairs or adjustments carried out by another person
• Failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions, including lubrication where required
• Water ingress, corrosion, extreme weather or other external causes
• Movement, swelling, shrinking or misalignment of a door, frame, hinge, gate or building where this is not caused by our workmanship

Customer-Supplied Products

Where we agree to fit a product supplied by the customer, our guarantee covers our workmanship only. We cannot guarantee the quality, suitability or performance of a product that we did not supply.

Making a Guarantee Claim

To make a claim under this 12-month guarantee, the customer must notify A. Houlihan Locksmiths of the fault within 12 months of the date the work was completed or the product was installed.

Customers should contact us as soon as reasonably possible after becoming aware of a fault, as continuing to use a faulty product may cause additional damage that is not covered by this guarantee.

Please provide your name, address, the date of the work and a description of the problem. Proof of purchase may be required.

Statutory Rights

This guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.
